IDX Broker Pricing and Alternatives (2026)

Introduction

IDX Broker publishes its plan prices plainly: three plans at $60, $99 and $149 a month. What a buyer needs to know is what sits around those numbers. There is a one-time setup fee whose amount is not published. Some boards add a monthly data fee. And the plan you choose decides whether IDX Broker is adding search to your existing site or supplying the site itself.

This article sets out what IDX Broker publishes about each of those, as of the date it was checked, and then compares the alternatives only on what each vendor publishes.

⚡ Quick answer — how much does IDX Broker cost? Core is $60 a month, Engage $99 and Elite $149, month to month. Every plan adds a one-time setup fee, and IDX Broker asks you to contact it for the amount. Your board may add a data fee: two of IDX Broker's own board pages list $15 and $32 a month, with board setup fees of $25 and $350.

What IDX Broker publishes

Unless noted, everything in this section is from IDX Broker's compare page.

The three plans

PlanPublished priceDescribed as
Core$60 per month"For real estate professionals looking to get started with IDX home search."
Engage$99 per month"For real estate professionals looking to build credibility and increase engagement."
Elite$149 per month"For real estate professionals looking to elevate their brand with a customizable website."

In IDX Broker's FAQ, Core is "the essential IDX search plan for agents who want to add MLS listings to an existing website". Engage adds "market reports, sold listing data, AI Smart Search, and AI Redesign". Elite "adds a fully hosted, professionally designed real estate website". So Core and Engage add search to a site you already have, and Elite supplies the site.

IDX Broker also offers Agent, Team and Office account structures. It says "adding agents to a Team or Office account increases cost", but the page does not list per-agent prices.

The setup fee

The page says: "All IDX Broker plans include a one-time setup fee in addition to the monthly subscription. This setup fee covers the technical process of connecting your account to your MLS data feed and configuring your initial IDX integration. Contact IDX Broker directly for current setup fee pricing."

Board data fees

The page says your total monthly cost "may also include: MLS data fees (some MLSs charge additional data management fees set by your local board, not by IDX Broker)". IDX Broker's per-board pages list these. Two examples, from its own pages:

  • Altitude MLS: "MLS Setup Fee: $350.00" and "Data Management Fee(s): $32.00 Monthly".
  • Coeur d'Alene MLS: "MLS Setup Fee: $25.00" and "Data Management Fee(s): $15.00 Monthly".

Look up your own board's page before you sign. For what boards publish directly, see MLS and IDX fees by board.

Add-ons and contract terms

  • CRM: IXACT Contact CRM and marketing automation "can be added to any plan" for "$50/month".
  • Contract: "a simple month-to-month subscription with no annual contracts or long-term commitments required", with "no cancellation fees". Cancellation needs notice "at least two full business days before your monthly renewal date".
  • Before you buy: IDX Broker's FAQ points to a free product tour of the search and lead tools.

Where listing pages live

IDX Broker's WordPress plugin, IMPress for IDX Broker, says: "IDX Broker hosts your IDX data on a subdomain (e.g., search.yoursite.com)." It describes the content as "integrated, not framed" and warns that "using iframes to display this same content is prohibited and may result in account termination due to MLS rules."

IDX Broker's board pages say it "can work with any website provider including Wordpress, GoDaddy, Squarespace, Wix, and more!"

Canada

The compare page states: "IDX Broker does not currently support Sold Listing data or Virtual Office Website (VOW) services for real estate systems in Canada." It names CREA and TRREB among the systems this covers.

What the first year costs

At published prices, before the setup fee and any board fee:

  • Core: $60 × 12 = $720
  • Engage: $99 × 12 = $1,188
  • Elite: $149 × 12 = $1,788
  • Adding the IXACT CRM: $50 × 12 = $600 on top

Add the setup fee from your quote, and your board's data fee if it has one. On Altitude MLS, for example, IDX Broker's page lists $350 once and $32 a month.

Alternatives that publish prices

Each line is from the vendor's own pricing page, retrieved the same day.

How to choose among them

  • If you are comparing against Core or Engage (search for a site you keep), the comparable products are the plugins. The question that separates them is where listing pages live: IDX Broker says a subdomain; Showcase IDX and iHomefinder say your own domain. WordPress IDX plugins compared goes through each one.
  • If you are comparing against Elite (a hosted website), the comparable products are website platforms, including iHomefinder's website plans and RealFoyer. The questions are board coverage, what an enquiry carries into the CRM, and what you keep if you leave.
  • If you are in Canada, ask every vendor what it supports for your board, given IDX Broker's statement about sold data and VOW.

Where RealFoyer fits

RealFoyer is a website, IDX and CRM platform, so it is an alternative to IDX Broker Elite, not to Core or Engage on a site you want to keep. It does not add search to a third-party website.

What RealFoyer publishes: Starter is $39 a month in US dollars or $49 in Canadian dollars, with no setup fee on annual plans; the pricing page has the current plans. RealFoyer has integrations with TRREB, through PropTx, and MLS PIN. A feed is activated for each agent after that agent's board approves it. Other boards are on the roadmap, so check the coverage list first.

Does IDX Broker use a subdomain? Its WordPress plugin says IDX Broker hosts IDX data on a subdomain such as search.yoursite.com.

In short

IDX Broker's plan prices are published and clear: $60, $99 or $149 a month, month to month. The parts that are not on the plan card are the setup fee, which you must ask for, and your board's data fee, which IDX Broker lists per board. Decide first whether you are keeping your site (compare Core or Engage with plugins) or replacing it (compare Elite with platforms), then compare first-year totals.

Check whether your board is supported or see RealFoyer plans in USD or CAD.

Research Integrity

Published 21 October 2026 for "idx broker pricing", "idx broker cost" and "idx broker alternatives" searches. Every IDX Broker figure and quoted phrase was retrieved on 21 October 2026 from IDX Broker's own compare page, its per-board pages for Altitude MLS and Coeur d'Alene MLS, and its IMPress for IDX Broker listing on WordPress.org. The setup fee amount is not stated because IDX Broker does not publish it. First-year figures are the published monthly price multiplied by twelve, with nothing estimated. The alternatives' prices were retrieved the same day from each vendor's own pricing page and are quoted as published. Vendors are compared only on published prices and on how each describes its own format; none is described as better or worse. RealFoyer is described only by its published Starter price, its no-setup-fee annual plans and its published board integrations.
